Jesus Loves Me

Jesus felt alone in the garden of Gethsemane. He faced total separation from God. He was struggling and He called out to God for help.

We can use this story to teach children that to struggle is not a sin. And, it’s the same with us adults, just in case you needed to be reminded 😉

Like Jesus called to God for help, so should we. Jesus was raw, weeping and shared what He didn’t want to do. Ultimately, we know Jesus obeyed, and so should we. Let’s encourage our children to be raw with their emotions to God, and teach honest prayer without pretence.
