Let Them Come!

If I could sum up what a majority of illustrations of Jesus look like, they’re pretty tame. A lot have Him standing or sitting, arms outstretched a little with His palms facing upwards. I’d go so far as to say, I bet He looks a little boring to some kids.

Imagine the creator talking to children about nature! Imagine the author of our lives telling Old Testament stories to the children! He would have captivated them like nothing else ever had.

Ask your children, what would you like to do with Jesus if He came to visit your home? Play Lego? Go swimming? Bake a cake? I’m sure Jesus would do all these things!

This is Jesus. He was relatable. He came to earth to live among us. He came as close as He possible could. Let’s do our best to present this image of Jesus to our children.
